Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Consilium Law LLC aims to maintain an accessible website that works for the widest possible range of readers, including those who use assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and the firm welcomes feedback when something on the site does not work for you.
Accessibility Commitment
The firm builds and maintains this site with accessibility in mind from the start, not as an afterthought. New components, page templates, and article publishing flows are reviewed for accessibility before they ship.
Standards
The firm aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the current widely recognized standard for web accessibility and is the benchmark used in reviews of this site.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML for structure, with appropriate landmarks, headings, and labels
- Visible keyboard focus states on interactive elements, with focus order that follows reading order
- Color contrast checks against WCAG AA thresholds for text and non-text UI
- Responsive, fluid layouts that adapt across small and large viewports without horizontal scrolling
- Form fields associated with descriptive labels and accessible error messaging
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who set that preference at the system level
- Accessible link patterns, with text decoration that does not rely on color alone
- Ongoing review of new components and content as the site changes
Known Limits
The firm does not claim that every page on the site is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Some third-party embeds and legacy content may not yet meet that standard. When the firm becomes aware of an issue, it is added to the work queue and addressed in normal course.
Feedback
If you have trouble accessing any part of the site, or if you would like to suggest an accessibility improvement, please tell the firm. Feedback is read, taken seriously, and used to prioritize fixes. When reporting an issue, it helps to include the page URL, your browser and assistive technology, and a short description of what is not working.
